Social Awareness Programs
Education is vital for underprivileged individuals in India, addressing topics like health, human rights, and environmentalism. Many lack knowledge of their rights or HIV/AIDS prevention. Volunteers can research and present on various subjects to microfinance and children's groups, with staff assistance for translation. Past volunteers have raised awareness on HIV/AIDS, nutrition, health, women's and child rights, domestic violence, environmental issues, and more.
Organisation Management
Prime Trust highly values support in organization and management, making it an ideal internship opportunity, especially for those with a business or management background. As an intern, you can contribute to the development of Prime Trust by organizing and implementing new projects and procedures. This involves collaborating closely with our staff, creating necessary documentation and project plans, and actively pitching new ideas and methods to the team, fostering personal development in the process.
Teaching English
This project teaches English to underprivileged women and children, providing them with opportunities for financial independence and better futures. Volunteers, regardless of previous teaching experience, are welcome to join as English teachers. The experience is rewarding, and it also offers opportunities to help local NGO staff improve their English skills.
